I SEE GENIUS...THANK YOU STEVE

Apple✎ So, what the heck is Super9? What's all this commotion about? Truthfully, it's a mixture of things. For one: it's a project showcasing various photography works of the outside world. And two: the love of photography, in itself. I want to be able to strap my camera around my wrist and boldly walk down the streets, eagle-eyed and be aware of everything around me, yet still in tune with my camera settings and its F-stops, its strengths and limitations. I want to visualize a moment happening and then capture it exactly as I see it, to be preserved forever as a moment of history.
Oh yeah, I'm a huge fan of J.J. Abrams and his famous featured film: Super 8. This is where the Super9 came from, a spin-off from his title: it's awesome and mysterious. I absolutely love this kind of stuff and I'm so excited to get into this again. I feel like a kid all over again, getting down and dirty in mud with toys, but in this case, an expensive camera with a huge lens that doesn't require anything else but a compact flash card. I think it's time for me to stop yapping and start the show. Are you ready for this?
We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master, young jedi. There, the formal description is finally out of the way. Now we can get down to business. Yes, I am the creator of Super9: the realization of what really started as a daydream. With me being a computer-nerd with a artistic side, digital photography rekindled an old love of photography and art by marrying the creativity of capturing a photograph with an elaborate world of computer aided post processing. I get hang out with great people, take pictures and then play on a computer - who could ask for anything better? I've been shooting with my Canon (of course) for about a good 3-4 years (off/on), learning/inhaling as much as I can. And, trust me I love it. I mean I really love it.

Brent StirtonAt the request of Jerome Matias, I bring to you Blizzcon Cosplay. Blizzard fans are nuts, except hotter, a lot hotter. Fifteen-foot wingspans, homemade leather work, sexy night elf dances, I've seen it all. Why is this popular? Maybe it's a tribute to the quality of Blizzard's games, which can definitely never be described as "rushed to market." Who cares? I like it. But, either way, some of these costumes are just...dang.
Blizzcon CosplaySome people are afraid of being underground, but thankfully some photographers don't fit those shoes, and because of that, we are delivered with some great underground photography. Also, I tend to suspect that hipsters love it. These are some amazing examples of underground photography, man-made or not. Mostly tunnels, but also some natural scenarios, pretty awesome. I think I may have a new thing for tunnel photography.
